Pointing a region towards better health, better care and a brighter future
Known as one of the sunniest places on Earth, Yuma is home to a thriving local community and diverse population in the southwest corner of Arizona.
What was once the one true hospital in Yuma, AZ, Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC) has today blossomed into an emerging health system thanks to an expansion of its facilities and specialties across the region. As YRMC embraced this new chapter, they needed a brand to represent their future and the broader community they now serve.
The name Onvida Health was a perfect place to start, capturing the essence and energy of its employees with roots in the Spanish word “vida”, meaning “life.”
The brand’s new purpose, “building a healthier tomorrow,” inspired the vibrant visual and verbal identity. The spark in the “O” of the wordmark represents an arrow leading to a healthier tomorrow and the notion of bringing out the sun in everyone.
